Workplace Charging Scheme

The Workplace Charging Scheme is a government subsidy programme for the installation of EV car charging stations at workplaces. Businesses, non-profit organisations, and governmental authorities that have off-street parking facilities are eligible for the government programme.

EV CHARGING GRANT FOR LANDLORDS

The EV charge point grant gives financial support to landlords to buy and install EV charging points at domestic or commercial buildings. These charge points can charge one or more vehicles, however this will depend on the number of sockets. The grant amount will be determined by the number of sockets installed, and will provide up to 75% of the cost towards the purchase and installation of each socket (limited to £350 per grant). You can receive up to 200 grants a year for domestic properties, and a further 100 for commercial properties, whether you need support for one or multiple buildings.
